OUR BOAT............. WINGATE 111

Wingate 111 was a lifeboat on the liner Canberra, she saw action
in the Falklands war and helped rescue the marines from the Sir Galahad in 1989.The Camberra returned to the Uk and a short time later she was decommisioned, her lifeboats were sold off. Wingate as she now known went to Scotland as a fishing trip boat.

She was purchased by CHWT in 1998 and brought to Chichester Harbour, after a major refit in Dell Quay boat yard she started work doing the job she does today. Wingate 111 is licenced by the MCA for 52 passengers and 2 crew,she has a full liability insurance
Every winter Wingate 111 goes up to Birdham ship yard for her annual refit and paint up to keep her seaworthy and looking smart for the visitors she will carry in the coming season. Wingate 111 can also be chartered for any type of passenger carrying job from parties to film work.
